LASIK Consultations/Co-management

Many patients have heard of refractive surgery as an option to reduce or eliminate the need for glasses or contact lenses, but most know little about it. There are many types of refractive surgery ranging from implantable lenses and contact lenses to laser surgery. The most common type of refractive surgery is a laser procedure called LASIK.

LASIK is not for everyone and cannot correct all types of vision conditions. The doctors at Northern Vision Centre can examine your eyes and discuss your suitability to refractive procedures. Preoperative and Postoperative care can be done with any of our doctors.

The decision to have refractive surgery is a personal one. Our doctors will discuss the risks and potential benefits of surgery but deciding if the risks are worth the possible benefits is up to you.

Northern Vision Centre is not financially affiliated with any laser surgery clinic. We are happy to provide the preoperative and postoperative care for the clinic of your choice.
